For my future, I plan on going to University of Arkansas -- Fort Smith or Arkansas Tech.

I plan on studying in business, concentrating in Marketing and Accounting. I've been very passionate about math and being able to create things for others to enjoy. When going to UAFS, I plan on getting my bachelor's degree while working/getting experience at ArcBest.

After college, I want to either start a small business in Fort Smith or Northwest Arkansas and grow from there, or work for other small businesses in accounting or as their marketing management. I would love to own a shop that sells flipped thrift store finds. I want to be able to give clothes a new home, but also stop the fast-fashion business.

Ever since I was little, I always loved strong-female lead movies. It showed me that I can be successful in something I love.

SUMMER BREAK

Because of COVID, my family did not go out as much for our summer vacation. Instead, we stayed home for most of June and August. There were times when the air conditioning would stop, or the wifi would cut out, but it was one memorable summer.

After we got out of school, my boyfriend got to come home for Summer Block Leave! His flight from Hawaii may have been long, but it was worth it! We had lots of laughs, and a huge surprise! My sister found out that she got an apprenticeship at Spradling Elementary. It was a big deal! There were tears. Soon after, my boyfriend had to head back, and we celebrated my birthday. Lots of great food! My family came home around the same time and we celebrated with balloons and a BBQ. Then, we left for Florida! We only stayed for a week, and within the first two days, we realized the beach isn't for us anymore. We enjoyed time at the pool and trying new foods everyday. Right after we got home, it seemed like time just flew by. Now, my sister and I are starting our senior year!

Favorite School Memories

I'm a senior now at Southside and am so glad that it's almost time to graduate! Here's some of my favorite school memories:

One of my favorite experiences all throughout school was when I got to visit elementary schools for Service Squad. I got to visit my old elementary school and see all my teachers in ninth grade. It was great to see all of them but also decorate the side-walk for the kids.

In my sophomore year of high school, I got to participate in ShantyTown for Habitat for Humanity. That is my favorite memory of high school to this day! I met some great friends and made so many memories! For making the worst shanty-house, it was still fun to create our little house.

On my first days at Southside, my friends and I weren't the most comfortable just yet, but in this moment, we realized that we're going to be just fine. A kid digs into the trash, outside by the picnic tables, and talks out a "dead possum". The kid soon realized it wasn't dead. And the possum ran fast.
