I am a vocational teacher of Community Services in Lleida (Spain) Since 2012 I have been carrying out eTwinning projects with my VET students. eTwinning experience has been, for my students and me as a teacher, an important way to know our professional work area in other European places. eTwinning is special. It is the possibility of living creative experiences with transversal, collaborative and international projects. We can work with different VET groups, and we all enrich each other in a common work process.

Hello! I´m Celia and I teach English to a group of students who will become administrative assistants when they finish their vocational training course next year. Their ages range from 18 to 50. I would like to find ideas to develop an etwinning project this school term. I haven´t got much experience in the field, but I´m sure I will learn fast! Our school is in Barredos, Asturias (north of Spain) and there is a little of everything: secondary students (compulsory and Bachillerato), automotive training studies, and us, the administration and finance family.

I'm Javier Rodriguez from Tarragona (Spain). Our students, from 16 to 25+, learn the fundamentals of metal working and mechanical design. PBL is one of our main strategies, working closely with the local companies. We prefer working in relatively simple projects or devices, but developed according to high professional standards, from conception to prototyping.

Hello, I'm an English teacher from Portugal and for the last years have had VET Sports and IT classes. I've worked collaboratively with ICT teachers and we've developed eTwinning Projects. One of them, Pathfinders, was about developing an app with city routes. It won the national prize and was certainly one of the best experiences as it added value to the connection between the real world and the students'/ teaching experience.

Hi! My name is Meltem. I'm an English language teacher from Turkey. I have been teaching English for 11 years. I work at a hospitality and catering school. I teach general English courses and vocational English courses for front-desk, housekeeping, f&b service and cooking students at my school. I really enjoy carrying out projects integrating the English language with different vocational fields. We have an ongoing Erasmus project called DigilanguageVET which serves this purpose. I'm an English teacher from Portugal. For the last 6 years I've been working with VET classes. This year I teach a Sports class; a ICT class and a Business Class. Their age range is between 14 and 17. Last year, within the topic Media Literacy and Digital friendship we have done a fantastic project with students and teachers around the world. We have been awarded with the National and the European Quality labour. It's really rewarding to work with these students who are eager to meet othet people and know other cultures and realities. eTwinning enable us to get together and be part of a community that is constantly growing and evolving.

Hello, I'm a PE teacher on an electro and maritime high school, although in this year we added also the logistic program. Our school Has a long tradition and is the only one offering the maritime program in the country. Our students can embark on a ship or proceed the studies on the university to become chiefs or captains.
Electrotechnicians are able to work in a vaste field as well can continue to study.
I'm pretty new to eTwinning and have no experience, but excited at what this new collaboration might evolve.

Hello, this is Carmen Gaona. I'm a VET teacher from Sociocultural and Community Services VET family, head of VET studies and Erasmus+ coordinator at IES Gabriel Miró in Orihuela, Spain.We offer three advanced vocational training cycles that are considered short cycle Higher Education: Child Care and Education, Promoting Gender Equality and Social Integration. We also offer one intermediate training cycle in Health and Social Care. They are official titles. All of them belong to Sociocultural and Community Services VET family.
We have participated successfully in Erasmus mobility for student's on the job training programme since 2009 and in Erasmus+ mobility for staff since 2013. We are Erasmus+KA120 VET accredited and we have also been ECHE awarded Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education. Now implementing a mobility project in the new Erasmus+ KA121 VET and participating in KA229 School project call 2020.Our main purpose for this eTwinning event is to take the opportunity to exchange and learn with peers from all over Europe and to continuous professional development activities with our national colleagues. I think with eTwinning we can address vocational subjects due to the pedagogical methodologies promoted, such as project-based and inquiry-based learning.

We offer compulsory Secundary and Post-Secondary Educational and Vocational Education Training (VET) studies.
We offer basic initial vocational training studies in the field of Electricity and Electronics that are considered the first step to continue with a professional career.
We have participated successfully in Erasmus mobility since 2009 and our Electricity and Electronics iVET students have been able to participate in training mobilities abroad (Portugal) since 2016 we are now participating in Erasmus+ KA1 and KA2 activities.
