This storys means a lot and it inspires me, i used to hate the way my hair was but until i learned how greatful i am to have my type of hair. some people have no hair! so im just greatful that i have long beautiful curly hair. So this story is very inspireing to me

this story means alot because its not just hair love its also self love for not giving up.

So, hair love is such a great book and puts light into a point of view most don't even have access to because of society? personally i love myself im beautiful smart and independent, but some days i feel as if im nothing. but i remind myself god made me to be me. and hair love reminds us we all are made with care and love, to prosper in life. and it is a sin to envy or idolize someone so i might as well think to my self "im am me not perfect but god made me perfect in my own way" and hair love proves your hair is perfect and in the book it shows the father fighting the hair which symbolizes how hard it is to do different types of hair and i love the book so much! and society makes us to believe that if your a colored girl you have no innocence but that's not true all women are amazing its the context of the character not the skin color?

This story gives a little courage to start braiding my hair again because i always felt weird having my hair in braids vrs when it was straightened out because it felt more normal.

this little movie showed me to love myself because you are stuck in your body might as will love yourself because you were there in tough times when no one was there to help you looks doesn't matter if your bald or your a ginger because we all are kings and queen's and we all are family and human
doesn't matter what raise you are in we all go throw the same things you are still beautiful no matter what just love yourself that's all what matter's.

i can connect because one day my hair was falling out and i barley had hair and my family supported me through it and help me.

This story inspires me because I used to despise having my hair, I never really liked the way my hair looked compared to other people and I learned how to appreciate it and be grateful for the hair I have.

After I watched the video I learned to love your hair even if it's short, curly, or straight either way your hair is still beautiful, and have self-love, and don't give up that's what mostly the video is about. I also didn't love my hair but now I feel alright with my hair.

I actually have a really low self of stem,,miss griffin is the type of teacher to tell you that you are beautiful,and that nothing can bring you down,,if you see me in school,you see that im always fixing my hair,or checking what i look like in my computer,,u may think its because im obsessed with myself,,but its because i care what people think,,ever since i was a little kid ive felt like people have also seen me as this confidant goofy kid thats alwys ok,,but on the inside ive been brought down,because of the way i look... I'm so elated that i have ms. griffin in my life she is helping me boost my self esteem and she tells me that i am a queen and to ignore negativity. Sometime i feel like my naturally thick hair is not beautiful this book reinforced that I should love and apprecate my hair and love myself

I think this book is about how to feel more confidant about yourself and to not care about peoples opinions, but the truth is its hard to not care about other peoples opinions when they talk about it and give you dirty looks so its hard not too. i sometimes feel like i'm nothing and others i feel beautiful and intelligent. its just a cycle of how you feel and whats there to come. iv'e learned that being more confidant is fun you get to feel powerful.
