The article compares the book 1984 to real life today and the situations we face with our government using technology to spy on ordinary citizens. I feel that everyone deserves a substantial amount of privacy it's everyone's right.

This article describes the issue that in today's world and the novel everything described is pretty accurate. The novel also explains different "trespassing" events that the government does. My opinion on this matter is that it is scary to think that in the 1950's when the novel was written someone thought up this stuff.

Present day America may be considered parallel to life like in George Orwell´s ¨1984¨. In the novel, the Police Patrol and the Thought Police were in every nook and cranny. The issue is made very apparent. This article intrigues my interest in knowing how private my actions are.

This article depicts from the novel 1984 and shows how George Orwell`s prediction had great accuracy. I think it is wild that someone could have predicted the future so accurately. I feel that privacy should be better taken care of online. Its sad that these big government organizations are that desperate on invading Americans privacy. With that being said online users must be careful.

The article is describing the things that go on in 1984 compared to the world today. In the novel 1984, George Orwell predicted on how the world would be today and his predictions were pretty accurate. My opinion to this matter is that everyone should have a bit of privacy in this world as well being careful of what they do and post online.

This article is all about how the book 1984 relates to today's society. The NSA uses their power to spy on whoever they want or feel they should. Many people just ignore this and view it as the government just trying to keep us safe, but we should not sit back and allow the NSA to do whatever they want. There are striking similarities between the world today and the book, and while the book may be more extreme, we must not let the government monitor and use whatever power they want to acquire personal information.

This article explains that many years ago a man named George Orwell released a book called 1984. He explains that his book is very accurate to the privacy invasions we currently have today. It speaks of how the government is using cameras to track our every move. The cameras you see around town could be the government watching you. It is difficult to know the truth or not but what this shows me is that you need to be more careful with what you do.

Technology today is a lot more advanced today, and with the recent leak of information about the NSA some people would think that we were. This article makes you think about how easily the government can spy on you.

I don't find this to be a problem as they are not nitpicking everything you do online but rather picking out the people that could potentially harm the United States.

Many people find the resembles unsettling, but personally if find them refreshing. Where the article says we are always being monitored as a bad thing truthfully its a good thing there are many people out there who want to hurt us and one way is threw the internet. so we need someone there to stop any threats

The creepy part is that most of it is all very true today. I think that it is kind of crazy how spot on he was, but it also gets me very interested to read the book.
