My second book is, Long ago. The main plot in this book is about a Boy from the past who wrote letters to his future self. The boy from the past always thought he would be back. but instead another young boy finds the notes. so he really did not come back, but someone else found the notes to enjoy!

The cats in her favorite library are working for Sebastion, a evil criminal who plots to take over Bridewell. In the sequel, Beyond the Valley of Thorns,  Alexa (The main character) finds out Elyon, the creator if the land, chose her to destroy a certain evil... Also there is a prequel to The Dark Hills Divide called Into the Mist, and the third book is called the Tenth City, and the ending to it all is called Stargazer.

The second book that I am reading is called Elizabeth Blackwell Medical Pioneer It is about a woman named Elizabeth and how she wants to be a docter put back then in 1847 woman were not aloud to be doctors and so what she did is she applied to lots of colleges and got accepted to one! In this book Clary is 'trapped' with her brother Sebastian/Jonathan and her boyfriend (Who is bonded evilly to Sebastian) She has on a ring where she can talk to her best friend Simon, the vampire. Magnus, Alec, Izzy, and Simon raise Raziel the angel because he can't kill Simon and ask for a weapon that can kill Sebastian without killing Jace, because there bound. Clary separates them in the end, but doesn't kill Sebastian. 

The Final book, City of Heavenly Fire is where every shadowhunter is sent to Idris (there home base) So they won't get hurt by Sebastian and his evil men. Emma and Julian are new characters, Julian lost his dad to Sebastian's army and Emma parents were killed. Emma ended up being the ones to Convince The gang to go to the demon realm. Magnus, Luke, Jocelyn, and Raphael are taken by Sebastian. Raphael the vampire is killed because he doesn't have any information. When Alec gets there he safes Magnus. Then Clary killed Sebastian, and they were trapped in the Demon realm. They escaped from Magnus's father, but Simon lost his memory and being a Vampire. In the end Magnus and Izzy turn him into a ShadowHunter.

The second book I read, Tut's Deadly Tomb, was about how the Ancient Egyptians prepared the dead for the afterlife. It also talked about how a guy named Howard carter discovered Tut's tomb but, whoever participated in the task was cursed and died later on. Many people died after the opening of the tomb such as, Carter's friend Lord Carnarvon, and others which, led them to believe an Ancient curse was at work. I also learned that some girls were taught how to read and write at home and a few became doctors. In Egyptian society most people were farmers and peasants. People who grew food and worked for the royal family. Some people were skilled craftspeople, for example, carpenters, masons, jewelers, stonecutters, or painters.
