         <description><![CDATA[<div>Liesel has always wanted to learn how to read and write. and soon Liesel first discovers a book called the “Grave Digger’s Handbook” When her brother dies, she holds on to the book, until her Foster father, Hans Hubermann teaches her how to read and write. <br> As time goes on, Liesel breaks into the Mayor’s Library to steal books and saves books from the book burning. Even though the Nazis don’t allow education, Liesel breaks those laws and continues to steal books to learn how to read and educate herself. </div>]]></description>

Evidently the holocaust was not the only time books were burned in 2012. "when al-Qaida Islamists invaded Mali, and then Timbuktu in 2012, among their targets were priceless manuscripts—books that needed to be burned." these are only 2 of the times books have been burned. it is devastating how people would think burning books was a good idea.<br><br></div><div><br></div><div>evidence will be cited in the a boxes below.</div>]]></description>
