One of my favorite memories from camping is when I went to Great Smoky Mountains National Park with my brother. It rained and stormed so hard that we couldn't even set up the tent, so we had to spend the night in the car! The storm also tried to put out our campfire. We still had a good time together, and it was a really fun trip even though not everything went as planned!

Well let me tell you about my experience at girlscout camp along long time ago!  We had just left the campfire, headed to our cabins, you could hear the crickets. the stars were twinkling in the blue sky, but it was dark! All of a sudden we heard the sound of a bear!  Everyone ran and fell on top of each other trying to get away. Turned out it was one of the older girls scarying us! It worked!!  Remember when you use to have me tell you stories at night?  Can't wait to do that again.

I don't know how you convinced mom to sleep in a tent in the backyard a couple weeks ago, but you did. Also, your Smore technique has been next level lately, with adding cosmic brownies, Reese's and Zingers (rasberry) to the mix instead of Hershey Chocolate.  Lets admit, the cosmic brownies are far superior than Hershey bars, and this phenomenon should become the norm for all, over time. Too many are missing out, please spread the word at school next year.  Never forget the polar express before you close your eyes, he's always watching.

It was certainly fun to make s’mores 😋
I promise you; next year we’ll go camping with Eli and Ethan; and we will have a fun camping trip!! 
I used to go camping when I was a little girl; and I remember how much fun it was to wake up; zip open the tent, and be outside!! 
Maybe we can get the fire pit set up this weekend and have another s’mores party.... because you can never have to many, right?!
