         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>biological population</strong>: refers to the biological study of animal populations. It is primarily concerned with the growth and regulation of population size, population<strong> </strong>genetics, demography and life history evolution, and the interactions among species. <br><br><strong>ecological Niches</strong>: is the role and position a species has in its environment; how it meets its needs for food and shelter, how it survives, and how it reproduces. <br><br><strong>species Interactions:</strong>within ecological webs include four main types of two-way <strong>interactions</strong>: mutualism, commensalism, competition, and predation (which includes herbivory and parasitism).<strong><br></strong><br><strong>keystone Species:</strong>A keystone species is a plant or animal that plays a unique and crucial role in the way an ecosystem functions. Without keystone species, the ecosystem would be dramatically different or cease to exist altogether<strong><br></strong><br><strong>species Diversity:</strong>s the number of different <strong>species</strong>that are represented in a given community (a dataset). ... <strong>Species diversity</strong> consists of three components: <strong>species richness</strong>, taxonomic or phylogenetic <strong>diversity</strong> and <strong>species</strong> evenness.<strong><br>major terrestrial: </strong>is an area of land with a similar climate that includes similar communities of plants and animals. Ecological diversity is a type of biodiversity. It is the variation in the ecosystems found in a region or the variation in ecosystems over the whole planet.<br><strong><br>Natural Selection:</strong>is the differential survival and reproduction of individuals due to differences in phenotype. It is a key mechanism of evolution, the change in the heritable traits characteristic of a population over generations. ... Biomass pyramids show how much biomass is present in the organisms at each trophic level, while productivity pyramids show the procreation or turnover in biomass.</div>]]></description>
