In Pakistan there is a tradition called bear baiting that I personally don't think should be followed anymore. In this tradition, they capture young wild bears, and force them to fight against a pack of dogs. In order to make this fight "fair" they put the bear through tremendous pain by piercing nose rings through their muzzle (to which chains are attached), their claws are removed, and their canine teeth are broken. This is purely animal abuse and shouldn't be a tradition.

A culture that interests me that I would like to learn more about are the Quechua people. The Quechua people are an indigenous group located in the Andean regions of South America. They have a rich cultural heritage that goes back many years. Their language, Quechua, is one of the oldest spoken languages in the world. The Quechua people have a strong sense of community and often practice subsistence farming, cultivating crops such as potatoes, corn, and quinoa, while also maintaining a deep spiritual connection with nature.

There is a popular Indian folktale that is commonly told, called "The Thirsty Crow." It is meant to teach us the importance of ingenuity and determination in solving problems. In "The Thirsty Crow," a crow is desperately thirsty and unable to find water. Spotting a pitcher with a small amount of water at the bottom, the clever crow comes up with a plan. Using pebbles, the crow drops them one by one into the pitcher, causing the water to rise until it is within reach. With its thirst quenched, the crow happily flies away.
