My audience feedback was crucial in amending my ancillary products as I did not follow the stereotypes associated with ancillary products which are colour schemes. My audience feedback made me realise that I needed a clear colour scheme in order to improve my album advert and digipak. Furthermore, during the progression of my ancillary products the audience feedback helped me identify that there was not a clear link between the album advert advert and digipak, this is vital in creating an identity for my ancillary products. Therefore this feedback allowed my ancillary products to change and progress and without this feedback, the products would not have been able to be completed to a high enough standard. Audience feedback is crucial when making a product as it allows you to get outside opinions on your product and make sure there is not any bias towards your own product as without this feedback I would of been very narrow minded in my approach to amending my ancillary products to make them better. 

From my audience feedback from my music video, I have learnt it is most beneficial if you get research from a wide target audience as it allows a range of opinions that can tell us how we can improve the video. From our feedback we were able to classify that our theme was 'in the media now' which fits in perfectly with our target audience. Gaining insight from teachers is invaluable and is very important, as it is very different from a target audience as teachers have a lot of experience in this industry so their experience and opinion is vital, furthermore the target audience research allows us for a more up-to-date opinion on our video. I think that my group and I got a good amount of audience feedback as if we had got more the variety in opinions would be too much to make alterations to the music videos. Also I could of asked a wider variety of questions, however I wanted to perfect the main parts of the album advert and digipak, which were the colour scheme, front cover, and a clear link between the two, which is why I used a small amount of questions. These questions were very important as they were focused on the basics of the ancillary products and they are most important. If I were to do this again I would do 2 separate surveys, one focusing on the basics of the products and one focusing on the other parts e.g. CD cover, lyrics page as this would allow me to have a greater understanding of how my products can be improved overall and in all aspects not just one or two aspects. But overall I am very happy with the feedback I got as it helped me improve both my album advert and digipak.

For the research into my music video my group and I conducted questionnaires and one-to-one questions. This was beneficial as these two methods gave us the ability to get a larger amount of feedback via the questionnaire and get a more in depth view by using the one-to-one interviews. The answers from the one-to-one interviews were very in depth so we were able to make the necessary changes based on this feedback. The questionnaires allowed us to ask a larger amount of questions with more simple answers mostly YES/NO answers. The feedback allows a view from another perspective on how to improve these products and no product in the media in this current day is successful without target audience feedback. If I were to do this project again I know how i would approach my target audience with what ways of getting information.
