In his work as a public safety professional and emergency responder, he supervised and managed fire and emergency scenes and served as an instructor to other emergency personnel. Roderick Knox has experience leading courses on hazardous materials, fire training, high-angle rescue, trench rescue, and emergency response. Since retiring from the Atlantic City Fire Department in 2015, Mr. Knox has changed career paths to the education field. He leverages his leadership skills and educational background to serve as director of human resources for the Principle Academy Charter School in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. In this role, Roderick Knox is responsible for hiring new staff members and ensuring that school facilities are secure and well-maintained.
