• Mechanical Engineering at Leeds University (UK)

• Reason:

  • More practical than Maths

  • Wanted British qualifications (high prestige)

• Tuition fees: very high for foreign students.

Study challenges:

• English (not my mother tongue) → hard to follow lectures and seminars.

• Failed first-year exams → had to retake them all.

• Later passed and did well in coursework (spent time researching topics and check English.)
