Invertebrates are animals that haven't skeleton. There are 7 big groups of invertebrates:
1. Sponges: They are multicellular organisms that have bodies full of pores and channels allowing water to circulate through them.
2. Jellyfish: They are mainly free-swimming marine animals with umbrella-shaped bells and trailing tentacles, although a few are not mobile, being anchored to the seabed by stalks.
3. Corals: They typically live in compact colonies of many identical individual polyps.
4. Worms: Are many different distantly related animals that typically have a long cylindrical tube-like body and no limbs.
5. Molluscs: Molluscs are the largest marine phylum, comprising about 23% of all the named marine organism. Numerous molluscs also live in freshwater and terrestrial habitats. They are highly diverse, not just in size and in anatomical structure, but also in behaviour and in habitat.
6. Echinoderms: The adults are recognizable by their (usually five-point) radial symmetry, and include such well-known animals as sea stars, sea urchins, sand dollars, and sea cucumbers, as well as the sea lilies or "stone lilies". Echinoderms are found at every ocean depth, from the intertidal zone to the abyssal zone.
7. Arthropods: They are invertebrates animals having an exoskeleton (external skeleton), a segmented body, and paired jointed appendages. Arthropods form the phylum Euarthropoda, which includes insects, arachnids, myriapods, and crustaceans.
