The first step, A bar screen is a filter that removes big solid things from the wastewater. It's a type of coarse screen that takes out rags, plastics, papers, metals, etc. from any flowing water. Coarse screens remove large solids, rags, and debris from wastewater, and typically have openings usually has steel bars spaced with tiny opening that don't let big solid objects through.

The grit chamber separates small objects from the water by spinning really fast. Its purpose is to slow down the flow of sewage in order to remove grit materials. Grit materials are small chunks of pieces which include sand, ash and clinkers, eggshells, and other inorganic materials. A grit chamber is shaped like a long, narrow, or a circular tank that is part of the primary sewage treatment

Aeration in this case is when air and bacteria are added so volatile substances dissolve and decompose.Aeration in general is the process by which air is circulated through, mixed with a liquid or substance. Aeration brings water and air so that they are touching in order to remove dissolved gases and to oxidize dissolved metals, like iron, hydrogen sulfide, and volatile organic chemicals.

Nutrients start to enter due to human manufacturing enters the natural water and the water plants, animals, and algae start to grow. Slowly the algae begins to reproduce and lots of plankton too.

The algae overpopulate and cover the surface of the water

The algae overpopulate blocking all water from the water plants. As they take in more sun they keep spreading. Slowly the plants start to die.

Then the plankton, and algae start reproducing heavily so sunlight can't enter the bod of water causing significance in plants beacuse they can't get sunlight so they can't make food

What happens when chemicals remain after the water is treated.(Eutrophication Procces)

When chemicals like phosphate remain after treatment, algae blooms form and the whole process of eutrophication starts because the bacteria reproduces and no sunlight can reach the water plants so then they can't make food using photosynthesis. The bacteria then eats all the air(oxygen) so then the underwater animals like fish can't breathe so they die. Then the whole ecosystem flops because there are no animals like fish, zooplanktons are growing significantly, plants are dying due to no photosynthesis and the water loses its aesthetic values heavily.

No O2=DEATH

The absence of the O2 starts to get to all the living things in the water and they all start to die - fish, algae, and bacteria. The reason behind this is because the bacteria causes and dissolves with oxygen causing oxygen depleation and toxic generations. Then the wate can no longer support life due to the amount of toxins.

The REPETITION
