No matter what location my future education career begins in, there will more than likely be students living in poverty.

According to Glasser and his Choice Theory, there are seven deadly habits to avoid when discipling students. These habits-"criticizing, blaming, complaining, nagging, threatening, punishing, and rewarding students to control them" (Charles, 2014, p. 36)-can negatively influence the classroom environment. I would never want students feeling unwelcome or inferior in my classroom, so I will not be using these tactics in my teaching practices.
