At the beginning of our story, it’s jumps into the action. Wayytt, our main character, falls into the rapids on a whitewater trip. Then, we have a flashback of Wyatt and his brother joking around about falling in the water, while listening to Broby, the guides, instructor. Johnny, Wyatt brother, says,” Wouldn’t it be awesome to fall in?” (Robie 2). After this, the whole group heads out to the river. While they are out, they help another raft get free form a rock. This causes them to go into difficult rapids and Wyatt falls off. Wyatt remember Brody’s instruction and is able to smile to safety.

She has a short temper, like her dad. She love to fight and nothing else, but that change over the time of the book because her aunt helped her be positive. In middle of the book Charlie was making fun of Howered for his up and down walk. For the next couple days she felt guilty for what she said. Her and an another person was saying, why won’t you make fun of his up and down walk she said “no.”

Charlie based her life on wishing. She tries to wish when she could. For an example is, it would be 11:11 and she would wish or a comet or anything that she was told.

Her real family does not care about alot. Her mom never get out of bed and her dad is all ways fighting and going to jail. So her mom sent her to go to her aunts house where she stays there.
