         <description><![CDATA[<div>A river is a natural flowing water course,usually fresh water,flowing towards an ocean,sea lake or another river. In some cases a river flows into&nbsp; the ground and dries up at the end of its course without reaching another body of water.<br>It's also true that most of the water flowing in rivers comes from precipitation runoff from the surrounding landscape(watershed) but,the water in the river doesn't all come from surface runoff.Rain falling on the land also seep into the earth to form groundwater.</div>]]></description>

The bottom of the channel is called the bed and the sides of the channel are called the banks. A river grows larger as it collects water from more tributaries along it's course.</div>]]></description>
