One: I had never played the game Clue before and recently a group of my friends wanted to play. Instead of them just laying out the rules, I learned how to play by doing different things in the game and seeing the outcomes therefore learning in an active way.
Two: While reminding myself how to do math with basic fractions, I kept trying things until I figured out again how to complete my task. I was manipulating what I did to understand a concept. I found this a somewhat poor way to learn however. It becomes very confusing.

One: While practicing for the ACT in high school, I would take tests and we would always get them back to review the answers we got wrong. While correcting our answers we would always learn more. This I believe is one of the best methods of learning. If you don't learn from your mistakes you won't get better.
Two: After softball games, my coach used to go over what we did right and what we did wrong. Then the next practice we had we would work on what we did the worst on.

One: While completing my political science course I found that I was extremely interested in how the 2020 election would pan out. I reached very deep into the topic and now help educate people to support a candidate running.
Two: Wanting to be the best I can be at art, I delve as deep as I can into learning about how to draw better. This is learning that is very intentional on my part.

One: I read up on a how to use a new program for drawing and how to program works. After reading up on the material I then put what I read to use by using the program. I applied the reading to a real situation. This was a beneficial method as it gave me an overview then hands on experience which I find essential.
Two: In math class we discussed the math behind loans. Then as a complex activity to hammer the point home, we all took out fake loans and understood how the interest, principles, ect work.

One: My papaw and I compared trail camera picture in the area we hunt and discussed different ideas to find the best way to find success the upcoming hunting season. We founds different ways to achieve our shared goal. It worked well as we both found success.
Two: In an astronomy class I took, we had to work together to track the degrees of the moon each night and see how many degrees it fell from the sun. It was helpful to me as I didn't get the concept as well as I liked and others were able to share with me what they understood. The working together earned us a grade we were all pleased with.
