The banning of any type of literature was supposed to be something civilized society would look somberly upon. Except for the case of Mein Kampf apparently. I'm not trying to defend the content in the book by any means, but don't we hold protests over banned books here at home? It seems at least a little hypocritical even though I understand the context and the reasoning of detractors. It's not like the Communist Manifesto is banned literature.

I remember Mr. McDougall talking to us about how his parents did not pay for his college at all and he has to learn to figure it out on his own. I feel like I would be like that with my children. One of their biggest tasks for being independent is figuring out their financial future.

This one may sound like a very obvious question, but such plan has never been implemented. I feel like pharmaceutical research should be funded through federal money like college research is right now. In return, the federal government would be allowed to regulate drug prices, helping reduce huge portions of insurance costs. The last step would be gradually reducing the age admittance for medicare

The whole topic seems super interesting to me. American politics has changed several times over time. The next phase should be an Age of Crossing Ailes. Stop making it all about ideologies. A wave of honest party leaders. Getting corporation money out of politics. But then again, does that mean only people should be allowed to write checks?
