           Example
You make a song which means you have the rights for it, then one day someone reposts your song and they claim its theirs . The Copyright law protects you from others stealing your work.
         Bad Example 
You have an idea and you haven't told anyone or written it anywhere. Then a few days later someone had the same idea you had and made it useful. And now your mad because someone stole your idea. When they didn't really. Copyright does not protect this example.

Bad Example 
You took a picture of mountains. Someone crops your image and uses it on their website for learning. They also credit you with links. Then you want to take it down or do something about it... But can't because of Fair Use
