You can update for your Asepsis competency by peer assessment with any Band 5 or above RN in your area (on condition that they are already updated for it). Please, contact the clinical educators for the assessment document.

Medical staff can still update for Asepsis simply by self-declaring their competency on their Training Interface.

Personal Safety Conflict Resolution Level 3 is now called NHS Conflict Resolution (England) - 3 Years. It can be accessed and updated on ESR. You don’t need to email any evidence or feedback forms to the team as ESR will automatically update your record.

The CEs will come to the ward to do your assessment which is a 1-minute assessment of continuous compressions where you demonstrate your ability to perform them properly in terms of depth and speed. As a requirement for:
Level 1 (if you are Band 1 to 4) you need to watch a 6-minute online video BEFORE the assessment.
Level 2 Non-Medical (if you are Band 5 or above) you need to watch a 27-minute online video BEFORE the assessment.

Both videos can be found on the Resuscitation Services intranet page.
Failure to watch the video before the assessment will result to you not being able to be assessed for chest compressions.

For Level 2 for Medical Staff you still need to access the e-learning on your Training Interface. Please, make sure you complete all three following steps for your status to update:
