In the summer of 2021, just before I started my primary school at La Salle, I had suffered from type II Supracondylar humeral factures (displaced but with intact cortex). It was because I fell down from a dilapidated chair and went through a three-hour operation at the Baptist Hospital. From then on, I was determined to be an orthopedic surgeon.

It's a long journey to become a professional surgeon. In order to do this job well, I must study hard and learn all the knowledge in this field. I should gain experience through observation, participation, research, learn from my own mistakes and the mistakes made by other surgeons. In my opinion, there are at least 5 criteria to be fulfilled to become a great surgeon: inquisitive, determined, disciplined, perceptive, and co-operative. Good surgeons should also acquire manual dexterity and emotional resilience to have good practices in this field.

At the age of 9, I am interested in learning all the knowledge about human body, for example, brain, cells, DNA and etc.. I hope I will become an orthopedic surgeon in near future.
