         <description><![CDATA[<p>Federalists would have been critical of the Articles of Confederation because it created a weak national government. They emphasized all of the problems within it such as the lack of an executive branch and court system, the inability for Congress to collect taxes, the lack of power over trade and creating foreign relations. </p><p><br/></p><p>Antifederalists would have supported the Articles of Confederation as it gave states more power and they would have agreed it was "not all bad" since it provided government structure at the end of the Revolutionary War and created the Northwest Ordinance to organize territories and new states. </p>]]></description>

The federalists wanted to convince Antifeds so ratify the constitution and fix these problems.</p><p><br/></p><p>Anti-federalists would have been against the ratification of the Constitution, and almost in denial of how bad the nation is running.
