I’m Sr. Roma Maria Tubana, a religious consecrated and at the same time a primary teacher here in Matera Italy. This year is my first experience in teaching that’s why I’m juggling to many things in the school. Anyways, I always wanted to teach and to be with the children at school. It’s an un describable feeling to be with them and journey in their own growth.

I joined this project because it suits my interests with the children’s book.I love reading books and I hope I could be of help to every member of this project.

Through the “My Journey with Books” project, I aim to encourage my students to love reading, help them make friends from different cultures, and share meaningful experiences through books. I am very happy to be part of this journey together with my students and teachers from different countries.

Hello, my name is Örcan Çınar.

I work as a primary school teacher at Yunus Emre Elementary School. I am originally from Diyarbakır and currently teaching in Batman. I have been in the profession for six years.

This will be my second project on eTwinning. In my previous project, I received the National Quality Label award. I love creating projects, organizing fun and educational activities with my students, and trying out innovative and different approaches in education. Learning together with children, supporting their creativity, and contributing to their dreams are very valuable to me.

In my free time, I enjoy reading books and participating in cultural and artistic activities. Through projects, I find it very important to explore different cultures and gain experience through international collaborations.

For me, every project means discovering, sharing, and growing together.

I enjoy creating a friendly, motivating, and interactive learning environment where each student feels encouraged to explore, ask questions, and learn. In my work, I focus on play, creativity, as well as developing basic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics, so that children can build a solid foundation for the school years ahead.

In addition to classroom activities, I am also involved in educational projects and extracurricular activities, through which I aim to provide students with varied experiences that stimulate their curiosity and self-confidence.
