  • Elections are annual except for officer positions. Those elections are every 2 years.
  • They do not have law enforcement of their own, but they do have an agreement with the Forest County Sheriff's department to assist them.

  • One tradition the SCC has is playing games of chance! Therefore, it is no surprise that there is a casino on the reservation.
  • They harvest wild rice and spearfish as well as work to preserve the environment and its resources. 
  • The tribe has, and will continue to, use their money very wisely through various ways.
