Our school organized a trip to MTA-Natural History Museum in order to reinforce our students' scientific curiosity and increase their interest in natural history. Our students witnessed billions of years of history of nature by examining the fossils, minerals, geological structures and biodiversity samples exhibited in the museum. Thanks to the activities and workshops held in the museum, our students had the opportunity to learn scientific research methods in practice. In addition, they further enriched their projects on topics such as renewable energy sources, protection of ecosystems and nature-based solutions with the knowledge they acquired at the museum. This trip increased our students' love of nature and environmental awareness, while contributing to them gaining more in-depth knowledge and skills in STEM fields.

With preschool children, we talked about SDG 10 through relatable and understandable situations. We discussed how all people are different but equally important – just like friends in a group, where everyone has their own talents and interests. We read stories about friendship and helping others, played inclusive games where everyone could participate, and shared ideas on how to support those who may need help. Together, we created "friendship hands," symbolizing equality and respect for everyone.

With preschool children, we talked about SDG 11 by exploring their everyday environment. We discussed what makes cities beautiful and comfortable – clean surroundings, safe roads, parks, and places to play. The children shared their thoughts on what they like about their city and what they would improve. We read a story about a magical city, built a "dream city" using recycled materials, and drew pictures of how we can help nature.

With preschool children, we talked about SDG 12 and the importance of using things responsibly and protecting nature. We discussed why we should not waste food, water, or paper. The children shared how they sort waste at home and find new ways to use old items. We created crafts from recycled materials and explored how old objects can have a new purpose. We also talked about how small actions can help the environment – saving water, turning off lights, and picking up litter.

As we come to the end of our eTwinning project carried out within the scope of values education, we are also taking the final step of a journey — one that touched hearts and inspired meaningful learning.

Through this project, our students have gained not only academic knowledge but also values they will carry for life, such as respect, love, empathy, tolerance, responsibility, and cooperation. In each activity, they learned to make decisions together, respect different opinions, and be sensitive to society and nature. Most importantly, they discovered the meaning of being valued and giving value — by living it.
