Add- add more to your writing, remove-take out anything that makes your writing sound wrong, move- move the orders of your paragraphs, substitute- replace a word with a better one. Capitalize- capitalize words, usage- there, their, they're, punctuation- add a punctuation !?., spelling- everything is spelled correctly. Another thing I've learned this year is close reading. Close reading is reading a text carefully to your understanding of the text. How to close read- does my sentence make sense, do I need to reread? The last thing I learned this year is drama.
