Specific: I want to understand basic math concepts really well. To do this, I'll join in class discussions, take good notesand ask questions when I don't understand. By actively engaging in class and asking questions, I aim to build a strong foundation in math that will help me tackle more complex problems in the future. I also plan to work on my problem-solving skills by practicing different types of math questions regularly.

Measurable: To track my development, I will utilize the e-prf provided by my teacher and keep a math journal to find and improve upon my weaker areas.

Attainable: Reaching these goals is doable if I participate a lot in class, take good notes, review regularly, and ask questions when I need help. I will join the study group in the morning to get ready for hard tests. Consulting my teacher is also important so I can find places for improvement.

Relevant: Mastering these concepts is crucial for my development and success. It will also prepare me for more advanced math courses in the future. Lastly, it also helps me improve my mental mindset in difficult things.

Time-Bound: I aim to achieve these goals by the end of the School Year.

CONCEPTUAL UNDERSTANDING

I still had a hard time in the Cerebry app like last term. It was due to some concepts and problems not being formally taught in class. i had to do a lot of researching and I had to watch many Youtube tutorials in order to understand them. Cerebry also taught me to not be careless for every small mistake can cause you. It is like a mental challenge in completing every level and taking my time is key in order to complete them. It is much better to do Cerebry early on and on different times for doing it all in one sitting is not healthy for a student. Even if it was a difficulty, it helepd me bond with my classmates by asking for tips and advise for some of the problems given.

I used to think that all chords across a circle were the same length. I misunderstood how chords work in a circle. I thought that because circles look symmetrical, all lines across them must be the same length. But I learned that the length of a line in a circle can change depending on where it is and there were conjectures taught showing scenarios where them being congruent is a possibility. I addressed it by memorizing each circle conjecture to heart and applied it to my homework. I then practiced drawing circles and did practice problems involving chord properties in order to improve and learn from my mistake.

I spent a good amount of time studying for this test. the formula for one of the equations weren't given, luckily I memorized all of them meaning it helped me a lot and I was able to solve for everything. I carefully reviewed each concept from the lesson. I may have one careless mistake in the multiple choice, but I think this is one of my best works for practicing really pays off.

COLLABORATIVE WORK

I think I can count this homework as a collaborative work because of the assistance of my classmates. In the morning, I do practice exercises with my classmates in the worksheet so that we can get used to similar questions. We aided each other and corrected each others mistakes like comparing which conjecture must be used and not to assume anything. Their help really guided me to mastering this topic since I remembered their advise while doing the homework in the morning. When we finished we compared our process and explained to each other why we did a certain thing. The early group study sessions really helped me in this topic and made me learn something new.
