We can not rely on speech but we can use our 5 senses.
Instead of interviews based on questions, we can create a trigger/ controversy for the senses of our interviewee and observe the reaction through our own senses. _{this is a combo of participant observation and controversy & publics.}

The difference in scale between us and the interviewee animal will affect the level of empathy and the interaction.

Our scale affects our ability to take part in the situation. The bigger you are the more difficult it is for your interviewee to experience you as a whole. When the difference in scale becomes too big you become ab external agent.

Exerimenting with triggers to explore research question like "what creates barriers?". Observing reactions to sensory triggers, like smell, sound etc.

We chose to focus on the controversies that emerge when the phisical spaces of two species interfere. "what happens when two separate space are bridged?"
