This book I haven't read in school.But this book is about a girl, her name is Josie.Her mom died when she was young.Her mom's last wish was for her to go to Stanford.She thought her senior year was going to be just hanging with her best friend Louise and he stepdad Matt and studying for Stanford and also trying to stop her crush on Isaac.But then she finds out that her actual dad is "the recently deceased Ali Mashad—patriarch of America's original reality TV family, dripping with wealth, fame, and Vogue magazine covers".She starts to live like a Mashad but then her bravery comes into question.

Ferdinand Magellan was a Portuguese explorer. He wanted to reach the southeast where spices grew and gems were to be found. He went to sail on September 20, 1519.Instead of reaching the southeast he completed the first circumnavigation in history. Also he discovered a strait which was later named "Strait of Magellan" and he also named the Pacific Ocean (it means the peaceful ocean).

Chromatography was my favorite part of science.Chromatography is a process for separating components of a mixture.First we put some green food dye on a piece of Chromatography paper.Then The colors spread into RED,GREEN,YELLOW, BLUE.The reason they spread might be because of their weight and many of their molecular properties.We also learned about molecular properties.We did a project where we took different objects like packing peanuts,packing spheres, Velcro,and cubes.We figured out that the things that were on the cloth had different properties.

One work habit that I am proud of is Writing. Fifth grade has improved my writing skills and now I'm am writing books and magazine articles in writing.

One Improvement I would like to make is reading. I'm not very good in Grammar and vocabulary. I would like to start reading everyday and improve my English grammar.
