-Most of fresh water are stored in glaciers which are getting melted due to the climate change—many places in north america count on these glaciers for water supply and with them melting, peoples’ water supply is decreasing also

-The reason why the sea levels in Indonesia seems like it is rising faster than other countries is because the island itself might be sinking. Due to people pumping a lot of oil, natural gas or water out of the ground (which we do), the land can also sink and it’s not only the rising sea levels

-One small change in the climate may affect and change everything. Because of climate change, places that are usually averaged temperature may get freezing cold (/snowy).

-The reason why Jakarta specifically is sinking very fast is due to the uncontrolled water pumping. How I interpreted it was: the soil is like a sponge filled with water, the more you pump water out of it, the more it’s size will decrease. So because of that, the water will seem to rise faster because the land itself is sinking.

Climate change has developed heat for the earth and now currently 417 CO2 parts has risen to the atmosphere of the earth, the global temperature has risen 1.01 °c since 1880 but now, 2021 has been tied for the 6th warmest year and it continues. Arctic sea ice has decreased 13.0 percent per decade since 1979, ice sheets ( in the poles ) has also decreased by 428 billion metric tons per year. Sea level has risen dangerously 3.4 millimeters per year, and ocean heat had increased 337 zettajoules since 1955. 

In the last 650,000 years, there has been seven cycles of glacial advance with the last ice age it's about 11,700 years ago, and it marks there where the beginning of the modern climate and human civilization. Most climate change are attributed to very small variations in earth's orbit that change the amount of solar energy our planet receive. Climate change are caused by Co2 in the atmosphere and the more CO2 in the atmosphere, it can make more heat than the sun gave us normally in the past.

Jakarta is the first to sink because of the unequal piping system and we have to find other ways to find water.

He said that global warming is caused by greenhouse gasses in the sky that is traping the heat, that makes the earth warmer. Greenhouse gasses consist of Carbon Dioxide, Methane, Nitrous oxide and fluorinated gasses. The greenhouse gasses flow in a low pressure that makes them into one gas (A.K.A. Greenhouse gasses) that cause lung cancer, fogginess, and damaging the ozone layer, there are two types of air pollution, smog (close to ground) and higher air pollution (this type is higher of the ground.)

As more water vapor is evaporated into the atmosphere it becomes fuel for more powerful storms to develop. More heat in the atmosphere and warmer ocean surface temperatures can lead to increased wind speeds in tropical storms.
