I believe that the following is the most important factors that led to the defeat of the Inca.

1. Advance in weaponry because the Spanish had more powerful, useful weapons such as guns or arrows, while the Incas only had melee weapons.
2. Intelligence of animals, strategies etc. because the Spanish utilised animals such as horses for war which was a great advantage for them, where as the incas didn't have these kind of animals, and didn't even know they existed.
3. Preparation for Spanish over Incas. The Spanish knew that they would be attacking the Incas therefore they could have prepared in advance. In the contrary, Incas had no idea that the Spanish would be attacking them.

1. Weapons:
The weapons that were used were mainly made with things that the Incans and Aztec's have never seen before. Some examples are gunpowder; the guns helped the Spanish defeat their enemies.
2. Horses:
At that time, there were no horses at South America. The horses2 stunned the incans physically and psychologically, because the Incans never saw a living thing that large.
3. Disease:
The effect diseases brought to the Incans were the same as the effect smallpox brought to the Americans. The Spanish had the immunity that was developed throughout the time, but the Incans didn't.

Horses: They were great for transportation which led them to move around quicker than their opponents.
3) Disease: It made wiped out almost 90% of soldiers which led to having much less soldiers.

Weapons
Because the Spanish used more powerful weapons than the Incans, such as guns and swords which the Incans didn't have.

3. Disease
Many people were weak because of the fast spreading disease, so that helped the Spanish defeat the Incans.

1. The Moment
>>> At that time, the Spanish were already prepared to slaughter the Incas, so this gave them a great advantage. The Incas never experienced such unprepared battles and didn't get any warnings.
Other battles in history often had a better reason, or each of the sides knew about it. (ex: Peloponnesian War)

2. Weapons
>>> The Spanish had strong weapons such as guns - using gunpowder - and (somewhat a weapon) horses. They were mostly long-distance tools and were very strong, so I would rank this factor as 2nd (maybe even 1st).

3. Disease
>>> I would rank this 3rd since it was only beginning, but it made the Inca much weaker than originally. It was an element that the Spaniards could take advantage of.

Diseases: The Incas also died out due to diseases even though they didn't fight back, so the Incas still died

1. Religion - I chose religion as the most important factor because the Incans thought the Spaniards were gods and harming them would cause big harm and consequences.
2. Diseases - I think disease was the 2nd most important factor that helped the Spanish defeat the Incans. I think this because the Spanish gave diseases such as small pox that killed about 5 ~ 8 million people (or 90% of the population for the natives).
3. Horses - I think horses were the 3rd most important factor for the Spaniards the defeat the Incans because the Incans never saw horses before and only had huge mammals like llamas. Having horses gave the Spanish a tactical advantage.

For example, if you have a gun and if the enemy has a sword, when the enemy is running towards you, you can just shoot them.

3) Horses
I think the 3rd important factor is the horses because Incas were shocked when they saw those horses and it made them scared to fight towards the Spanish.

Epidemics can kill and weaken many people at once.
2. Weapons; There were no iron, steel, or hard materials to build strong weapons. Also, the natives mainly used their weapons to capture enemies and use them as slaves, they didn't have developed weapons for killing, which led to an disadvantage on the battle with the Europiens.
3. Guns and cannons not only were highly destructive, but had a fear and shock factor for the Incas. Even melee weapons like steel swords and pikes were more advanced than the Inca's.
2) Disease- 90% of the Incan population died from smallpox, an extremely contagious disease brought from Europe. In contrast, the Spanish had already developed immunity through generations of exposure.
3) Allies- There were lots of political and social divisions between the Incas themselves, and the Spanish took advantage of this by making alliances with certain groups and taking down the empire from the inside.
