She knows her kids that she works with and the testing doesn't reflect on that variable. Unfortunately I think that she doesn't have a real option here. If the testing is mandatory it is something she has to do. I think perhaps she could see if another form of the test is available to her students who are not comfortable with the pencil paper version or at the very least her ESL students.

The teacher should talk to the school’s director to see if there is another way they can administer the test to the children since the tests are mandated. Also, be supportive with the children after the tests.

But if she is able I would contact the board and explain the problem to them. If they are exposed to this with a negative mindset early on, it will be difficult for them to deal with it in the future. She knows that these children cannot take test that are not age appropriate. The writing and the math test are stressful to them. Explain math and literacy to the children every day by playing with blocks, reading books, singing songs, and creative play. They need to remember that all children don't learn the same way and that there are a hundred ways to teach children.

However, testing doesn't always show what a child knows. Speaking to the board could be beneficial. These tests are stressful for children and I will admit its even stressful for me and I'm an adult.
