He has an outstanding record of turning around failing schools to ensure long term and sustained success. Chris is a Trustee for the Church of England Central Education Trust (CECET) in the Diocese of Lichfield.

Gill is the Deputy Director and School Direct Programme Lead at BTSA in Stoke on Trent.
She is also Trust Director at St Bart’s Multi Academy Trust, Stoke, and the KEY Educational Trust in Stone.
Particular responsibility for the strategic development and leadership of the successful School Direct Programme. The School direct programme at BTSA, in partnership with the University of Derby, has a strong profile with 100% success rate; with at least 96% of each cohort gaining a grade 2 or above. Our trainees all enter employment as an NQT in the September after completing the programme and 100% pass their NQT year. Many from our first cohort (2013/14) are now developing on the leadership pathway and some are now mentors for the
