Part A 

Determine how much liquid is in each graduated cylinder. Describe how much liquid is in the cylinder. Describe how much of the liquid is used to determine the ML.

Part B

I think that the water will rise due to something being dropped in it.

Part C

First I count how many ML of water I’m going to start with.

Then I place my desired object inside the graduated cylinder to find out what next.

Lastly multiply L x W x H.

Part D

Yes it was.

I know this because when I place my object inside the graduated cylinder the water does rise.

The metal thing was the heaviest. It’s going to fill up the most volume.


The plastic thing was the lightest. It’s going to fill the least volume.


The marble thing was the second heaviest. It’s going to fill the second most volume.

I think that the metal thing well make the water rise the most. I think that because it the biggest and metal is heavier than plastic and marble.

PART A in this experiment we where trying to figure out what object hade the greatest volume. Out of three objects for example a marble a cube and a ¼ cube . PART b At the bigging I thought that the marble was going to have lowest mass because it’s the smallest object . PART C  ok this is how the experiment went down first I took the marble in the graduated cylinder but before that I recorded the amount of water . then I put the marble in the cylinder then measured that then subtracted it  from the original amount then for the cube I used a ruler to find length times weight times height to find the mass same for the ¼ cube slab PART D after all that work my hypothesis was  correct the cube had the greatest .volume

  1.        Why didn’t the little plastic air plane sink? I mean, I know that it’s plastic and it’s light so I guess that it wouldn’t sink sense it’s light and of course it plastic. 
  2.       I think that the little bottle of white out will have the most value because it’s the heaviest and it’s the only one that sunk out of my other items. Know, the little plastic airplane and the little thick stick figure are a totally different story. Know, the little plastic airplane is light and the little thick foam stick figure are light because those to items are the only ones that didn’t sink. The only one that sunk was the only one that sunk. So the little plastic airplane and the little foam stick figure have the smallest compared to the little white out bottle.
  3. I put the three items in the graduated cylinder. For each one item I put in the graduated cylinder and wrote down each one of the items value.
  4. I think my hypothesis will be correct because I looked over it and made corrections and changed what I needed to fix. I like the experiment because it was a fun experience.

FOR MY SCIENCE EXPERIMENT I HAD TO FIND THE VOLUME FOR THREE OBJECTS


Part B


 I think that the marble will be the biggest and the person will be the smallest volume.


Part C


First I measured the amount OF WATER .Then I put in the marble and the person in the graduated cylinder. I measured the block with a ruler. We started at 200 and ended at 220 for the marble. We used the formula to find the volume of the block.  I used Water displacement   to find the volume of the object. 


Yes my hypothesis was correct. I liked the experiment because it worked

Part A


The experiment I did is I think it has to do with volume. And I used a small plane/ a person/ and a block. I like the stuff I used because I like the color. And I like the way it looks because it’s cool. Like I like plains. And I like blocks cause their cool and they have a lot of colors. 


Part B


My object that was hypothesis is the big foam person then the water went higher a little bit. 


Part C


First I did the formula L×W×H was the block and the answer 10.65cm. And the person was 350ml. then the plane was 304ml.


Part D


Yes my hypothesis was correct. My hypothesis was correct because I did it right cause the foam person for the water to go up. The water went on the right level. Because I would put the biggest one which was the foam person. I like the experiment because I like using water for experiment cause its fun.
