They have difficulty looking past their current routine and expectations.&nbsp; The unknown is difficult for them to process.&nbsp; This group will teach them how to cope with that stress and give them tools to find out what is next (Hausenfluck, 2023).&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The pre-group will consist of a survey and an interview. &nbsp;<br>The survey will ask questions based on a 1 to 5 scale: strongly agree to strongly disagree.&nbsp; This survey will ask questions about group participation, enthusiasm for participating in the group objective, and their readiness for post-graduation (Module 6, 2015)<br>The applicants that are chosen from the surveys will then do interviews.&nbsp; The interviews will consist of open-ended questions that dive deeper into the questionnaire answers. &nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I feel the best leadership style for this group is Transformational. &nbsp;<br>Students with Autism are all very different.  They will each need their own individualized approach to learn and apply the content.  Also, these students will be very logical.  If I can intellectualize their emotions to where they can process and understand them. Then they will be able to apply the strategies introduced.  Lastly, the more that the students see me and my words as rational the more they will take away for their future.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>These students are very used to dealing with the situations alone.&nbsp; They are usually one in a grade or so they think.&nbsp; Because they are not exposed to others with the same difficulties they think they are in this alone. Universality will be present in the group because it will show them that there are others like them.&nbsp; With the same fears and similar difficulties.&nbsp;<br>The students will hopefully experience catharsis.  They will release the fear of the unknown because they will create a tentative plan for the future.  &nbsp;Also, they will learn strategies of releasing stress and fear. </div>]]></description>
