I would say that it exceeded my expectations. There were so many mini projects in this class and I loved it! It was not at all boring and it was very fruitful. It was a fun class that almost felt like a break from some of the other courses. I lack time management skills and that is no joke. I missed a few assignments, which I didn't think would be a huge deal, but there were only so many points available in the class. It was very eye-opening. I am going to make sure that I treat every student with compassion and as an individual. The big takeaway was how each student felt comfortable in the class. There was a confidence in the air that can only be achieved when the students feel important and special. Students in my future classroom are going to have that same confidence. There aren't enough assignments in the class. Not to mention, the points are very limited. This really stressed me out as a student towards the end. I didn't realize how low my grade was going to be because of a few missing assignments. There should be more points available to the students and maybe more assignments as well.
