We pair them with Olweus lessons and create Monday morning messages to be read in each room. Included is a short checklist for teachers to complete and turn in to the committee when they have presented the message and held their class meeting. Setting aside that time is hard to do when so many things need done - but investing in our time together makes things better for everyone else as a whole.  Together we are better! These staff changes created some tension, complaints, and communication issues with the staff. This in turn caused many late evening meetings and lack of cohesiveness within them. Mr. Gonzalez planned a meeting with the staff after work, they created Respect Agreements and he treated them to dinner while they worked. Since the meeting the staff has had ZERO complaints about each other and the program has run smoother.
