He is a Terran that exist with the Talic. He lives in a preserve were they use host Terrans to breed Talic eggs.  Gan doesnt like the idea of being a host but in the end he comes to a strange realization that he also can not bare to see T’Gatoi with a different host. He was scared but at the same time felt protected being T'Gatoi's host.
