The feed is imprinted into their brain like a piece of hardware. The feed is personalized to them and then only. They can buy things by thinking about it, and talk to each other through the feed.

Component 2: 1984

Winston and Julia's relationship highlights being innately human. This is an example because it shows a genuine human connection with two people that are just being normal. It also showed the struggles and problems they had though.

Component 3: in our world/historical/current

The art that people have in museums show how people express themselves. Also the art that we have downtown shows how humans as a whole express themselves.

Component 4: Feed

The feed regulates emotions and controls their emotions. For example, Violet and Titus their relationship at the end can't show a lot of emotion. She starts dying because her feed is broken and he remembers everything but he can't show the emotions he feels because it is restricted.

Some of the surveillance that they had was telescreens and they were always watching the people. They could tell what people was thinking and everything if there was a screen you weren't safe to think about whatever you wanted.

Some places have censorship and control over the internet. With them having control over this it limits what people know. People only get shown what the government wants them to see and know about.

Component 7: conclusions/analysis from books

Personally feed shows how some places have restrictions and limits on how much information people know and how much emotion they can show. It also shows that governments have a lot of power over the citizens in a lot of places. 1984 shows how governments only want to control your mind and the internet. The government only lets you see and hear about what they want you too.

Component 8: my new insights gained and connections

My insights from the books just made me realize that even in today's world you can't trust everything you see or hear. The government only wants to control us and what we hear and know. They don't want us to know about all the bad things in life so they only say the good.
