1. Why do you think this photograph was taken?
I think the photograph was taken as a form or remembrance of him feeding the elephant and the close relationship between human and animal. The man who i think is a tourist is feeding food to the elephant and he looks really happy, i am guessing it must be his first time being so close to such a huge animal and having the oppotunity of feeding it.

2. Would you enjoy the opportunity to work with animals? Why or why not?
Yes I would enjoy the opportunity to work with animals as being able to work with animals means I am able to bond and communicate with them, and developing a bond with another species is very rare. Whether I am helping an animal to recover from an illness, feeding and caring for unwanted pets, I think that great satisfaction can be found in making a difference to an animal’s life. Also, I have been an animal lover since I was very young has being able to work with animals will allow me to meet many people who have something in common with me. For example

3. Do you agree it is important for students to have the experience of volunteering and taking part in projects? Why or why not?
I think it is important for students to have the experience of volunteering and taking part in projects because volunteering at programmes or a charity can benefit a student’s future allowing them to see the world in a different way. The student will definitely feel a strong sense of achievement and pride that comes with generously giving up their time for a worthy cause.

1. Why do you think this photograph was taken?
I think that the photography was taken to show us that volunteering to help animals can also be an enjoyable activity and it wants to encourage us to be part of volunteering activities. The photograph shows a man with a camera smiling, while feeding the elephant some food. To me this shows that volunteering to work with animals can be fun as well, as long as we learn how to enjoy it.

2. Would you enjoy the opportunities to work with animals? Why or why not?
I would definitely enjoy the opportunity to work with animals as I have a great love for them. Being able to be near animals can help me learn about more of their behaviours. Working along with animals can also help strengthen my skills in taking care of something or someone. Since young, my grandparents owned two dogs and they grew up with me as well. Before they passed away, I had a great time with them as I would always play with them everyday. For me, I would want to work with dolphins the most underwater as I want to learn more about them. I have heard about many stories of dolphins having a special bond with humans. People also say that their intelligence is as good as a human's and it is definitely worth an opportunity to discover more about dolphins. Hence, if I get a chance to work with animals, I would definitely pick it up.

3. Do you agree it is important for students to have the experience of volunteering
and taking part in projects? Why or why not?
I agree that it is very important for students to have an experience of volunteering and taking part in projects. Having an experience in volunteering can let students realise how wonderful is it helping others and they would tend to become more selfless as they volunteer for all sorts of different volunteer work. For example, in NCC, I took part in a lot of different volunteering work and it has greatly helped me be more aware of the problems. Especially when I visited the lower-income families, I became much more grateful for what I have and since then I do not take anything for granted. Taking part in projects can develop student's creativity, confidence and other important skills. For example, in primary school, I had my first presentation project on my own. After giving a talk to my peers, I definitely felt more confident in expressing myself. Therefore, volunteering is beneficial for students as they would learn about different things, while taking part in projects benefits them as these projects will teach them a few life skills.

1. Why do you think this photograph was taken?

I think this photograph was taken to show that we humans can be close with animals. The photograph shows a man holding what seems like food and he is feeding the elephants. This shows that not all animals are aggressive to us and we should give a chance to the animals

2. Would you enjoy the opportunity to work with animals? Why or why not?

I would enjoy the opportunity to work with animals. I think that working with animals is a very valuable experience because I love animals but my parents doesn't allow me to have one at home. They think that I am not responsible in taking care of animals and this experience of working with animals can prove to my parents that I am responsible and can take care of animals well. I find working with animals a very memorable and unforgettable experience because it is very rare to work with animals as I don't come in contact with animals frequently. I think I will be able to learn a lot of things from working with animals. For example, working with animals needs a lot of patience and I can build up my patience by working with animals. Working with animals also requires me to step out of my comfort zone as the living condition of animals is different from mine.
3. Do you agree it is important for students to have the experience of volunteering and taking part in projects? Why or why not?
I agree that it is important for students to have the experience of volunteering and taking part in projects. I personally feel that volunteering and taking part of projects helps students to use their brains more effectively to solve problems. Taking part in projects helps students to gain more confidence during presentations and allows people to step out of their comfort zone. For example, I used to be very quiet and always kept my opinion to myself instead of sharing it with others. But after taking part in projects, I had to open up myself and had to share my opinons to

1.Why do you think this photograph was taken? Why or why not?
I think this photograph was taken to show the world the close relationship between animals and the human race. The picture shows me a man feeding an elephant. This shows us the close relationship between both man and animal. As we can see that the elephant looks very excited as it is being fed by that man in the picture. I think that this photo is also trying to tell us that not all animals are hostile towards us humans. For instance, in India many elephants are being killed because the farmers are afraid of these elephants trampling on their crops. Thus this photo was taken to bring out the best in these elephants so that they will not be killed again.

2. Would you enjoy the opportunity to work with animals?
I would definitely enjoy the opportunity given to me to work with animals! Usually we don't have the chance to work with animals. For example, other than jobs in the animal shelter, zoo or the veterinary there are not many jobs that gives you the opportunity to work with animals. But for me I think I would prefer working with animals. Why is that so? Because I do not have to worry about nosey parkers in the office and I do not have to deal with any office politics. On top of that, being an animal lover myself, I would love having the company of the many different types of animals. Although we do not speak the same language as these animals, being able to communicate with them differently to me is something very spectacular and intriguing. I myself have seen bears communicating with humans through sign language and that was a very wonderful sight. So if I do get the opportunity to work with animals, I would definitely treasure every moment with them.

3. Do you agree it is important for students to have the experience of volunteering and taking part in projects? Why or why not?

I agree that it is important for students to have the experience of volunteering and taking part in projects. There is a wide range of voluntary work that anyone can take part in. For instance, volunteering at an elderly home or at an orphanage or even at an animal shelter. These projects will be an eye-opener for all and at the same time tell us how fortunate we are. I myself have participated in these kinds of voluntary work. I still remember this experience vividly up till today. I once had the opportunity to volunteer at a community club where we would host a range of activities for the intellectually disabled kids to have fun. I was posted to the cotton candy station and my job was to give out cotton candy to the kids. Being able to see the radiant glow emitted from the kids after receiving the cotton candy really warmed my heart. Although these kids might not have the luxury of going out as whenever they want , they are still very contented. If something as simple as cotton candy can bring out the wide smiles from their faces, this tells me how grateful I should be as I have the chance to do things that they dream of doing but I can do those things on any given day. It was really an eye-opener for me and if I was given another chance to take part in voluntary work similar to this again I would not think twice. Therefore, I agree that students should take part in these kinds of voluntary work and projects. By taking part in these activities will also teach valuable lessons that cannot be learnt ion classrooms. For example, taking part in voluntary work will teach me how to be grateful and contented for what I have rather than whining over things that i cannot get. All in all, I fully support students taking part in voluntary work to give back to the society and do something meaningful.
