This article is about how Poland has immigrants from many different countries and Poland’s government doesn’t support them very well. Poland’s government seems to shy away from talking about immigration in the country and the problems that come with it for the citizens and the immigrants.

This article reports the impact of Poland’s increasing immigration from a number of different countries. This caused the country’s culture and the culture of the immigrants to become homogenized into one cultural hybrid. The amount of immigration has had a large impact on the country itself with lack of regulations being followed. While the country looks naive in not wanting to talk about these issues.

This article reports that women and families are trying to escape countries in central america and make their way to the United States. The rising violence and crime taking place in central america seem to be controlled by cartels and gangs. President Trump has passed things that make it difficult to stay in America.

This article reports the startling differences between the Global North and the Global South. The government in the Global North has more power and structure than the Global South does. The governments being less developed and in control causes the citizens to feel unsafe and want to go to America. This is showing how the global north still hasn't affected the south in every way making the world not flat.

This article reports about how the coronavirus has caused many countries to look at globalization differently. Many countries are looking at different places to import their goods, finding a place with a lower risk of exposure. This has given some countries the fuel they needed to move away from out of country manufacturing and immigration.

This article reports the impact the virus has had on the global economy and trade.
Post#4(March 30,2020):Globalization Chaining People Down

This article reports that globalization is not something that has helped open us up to the world but made us more vulnerable and easily controlled by others. Many countries are too interdependent on each other to try and figure a way out. The United States needs to learn to cope with chained globalization not try to get out of it.

This article supports the thought that the world has both positive and negative views of globalization. The article also reported on Foxconn, like we did in class, and how they created long supply chains changing the global economy and its systems. The United States having such a big influence can cause other countries to be wary if they could stop the export of goods, for example from Russia like they did from Iran.
