Subject: the current rising Covid-19 cases 

Dear Mr Gan Kim Yong,

I am a resident of the GRC you are in charge of. 
The reason that i wrote to you is because I want to tell you how I feel about the rising cases of Covid-19 in the community.

I am very concerned about the rising number of cases because it have gone up to 2000 plus a day ,which had never happened before. I understand that we are all vaccinated but the vaccine might not be 100 percent safe that we would not get Covid 19. Thus, this is the reason why I am so concerned.

I hope that you will be able to control the number of cases in Singapore and please be safe as we can't afford to lose any of the lives again

My concerns are that I have my grandparents living in the central parts of Singapore which is very busy and heavily populated. 
I am worried that they might get into close contacts with others who might be at high risk of infections, or get affected by the virus itself.  
I hope that you can find some ways to get the citizens to go out less frequently and encourage them to stay home. Thank you.

Dear Mr Siva,
I am writing this letter to express my concern of the current situation.

The cases in Singapore has risen drastically, leading to some being in the ICU. The hospitals are overwhelmed and they are limited in admitting in any more patients. Education can be disrupted since most would be sent to HBL. I might be going to have sacrifice most of my free time on revising since HBL is only effective to a certain extend. Most students might feel lonely and stressed up, and this might cause a lot of mental and health issues down the road

I hope you can look into the current situation.

Subject: Concerns regarding covid 19

Dear Madam,

Greetings. My name is Bharathkumar Vishwanath. I am here today to voice out my opinion regarding the issues encountered by citizens admist the covid 19 pandemic. Before that , I would to thank you for the incredible support to the community and your dedication to your job. Without your tremendous work and efforts, we would not be able to live the convenient lifestyle that we are having now.

The rising cases have reached to a whopping value of 2000 this week. This has increased the weekly death toll to 50 deaths. There are still selfish  anti- vaxers out there who are comprising our lives just for their own personal agenda. They have to be handled. I suggest waging a fine on them if they refuse to take the vaccine. We need to get 100 percent of the Singapore population fully vaccinated by 2021. Hopefully, scientists will also be able to discover a vaccine for the delta variant.

Another concern is the affect covid has on education, whether it be students or teachers. According to straits times, the issuing of circuit breaker have worsened the mental health of teachers as they are comoelled to work 45 hours a week to prepare materials for home based learning and adapting to this new style of teaching. The mental health of students of students have also drastically deteriorated. Many students cannot cope with their school due to home based learning. Straits times have shown that many students experience problems in focusing during online lessons and having eye strains. The institute of mental health (IMH) have reported that there have been approximately 13000 adolescent children who have been admitted due to academic stress in 2020 alone. There was a suicide case due to a primary school student not doing well for his PSLE and there was a murder committed in Riverside high school. All of this shows the pandemic has taken a big toll on the mental health of students.
