My Nana (my Dad's Mom) was part Blackfoot Indian. Because of this, my Nana's house was filled with dream catchers (ranging in all different sizes), dolls, headpieces, and more. It gives us all an opportunity to get together as a family. 
On Halloween, I take my younger brother out Trick-or-Treating and then once we get home we watch many scary movies.
Christmas Eve is always fun because we bake cookies and watch all of the "Santa Clause" movies.

At church, I serve with the 4-5 year old kids and I love it more and more each time I serve. 
I believe that people should be accepted in our society no matter what religion, race, sexuality, etc. 
I believe that people should treat other how they want to be treated. I remember this saying being said when I was younger, but it is still not implied. Life is too short to hate.

My family is very important to me and they are my world (including my very adorable dog Storm). Education is also such an important value in my life. I want to achieve as much as I can when it comes to education and educating. My boyfriend is also someone I value dearly. He is someone I hold very close to my heart. Of course, I value my close friends as well.

Currently, I have two tattoos that hold a deep meaning to me. I believe tattoos are art and expression.
My first tattoo I got on my 18th birthday, and it is in honor of my Grandfather who was my best friend growing up. The band The Eagles was his favorite band, so I got the "Take it Easy" tattooed with Roman numerals of the day he passed.
My second tattoo I got on my 19th birthday, for me. I have struggled with insecurities my entire life, and recently I have been learning to love myself and my flaws. I would tutor my neighbors when I was in 8th grade and I worked at Kumon two years ago tutoring kids. My parents always wanted me to become a doctor, which I was okay with. But, when I took Anatomy in high school, I knew being a Doctor was not going to work for me. I wanted to be an Elementary school educator at first, but then I observed Kindergarten classes and changed my mind. After that, I decided I wanted to become a High School educator in Math classes. Everyone I have ever told that I wanted to be a math teacher have told me that they hated math.
