My uncle Russ just had twin girls and on Friday I had to baby sit. Also on Saturday I babysit again and I took the girls to see our grandma. Then I went to the drive in on Sunday.

I am from barbeques, ketchup & mustard from playing foot ball with my cousins and playing basketball with my friends from go swimming then getting out to eating sandwiches and chips from playing the game from having friends staying the night and cousin.

from smelling hotdogs and burgers that made us feel like we could eat a whole horse.

My parents were friends with everyone on the block they were in a group chat and they planned block party's for that street.

We blocked both entry ways off so no cars could drive through.

Our friends Josh and Amber they would bring a pop corn machine a cotton candy machine and my parents bought a bounce house a slipin slide .

Also the other people cooked brought desserts and water balloons. We would play catch in the front yard while the grown up would grill. Or we would play basketball with some of the grown ups. It we either be girl's vs boys or kids vs the grown ups.

So this Friday me and my family where thinking how we could spend our last hot days and on Friday we had a BBQ and I had some friends over and so did my parents. Then Saturday I played the game with my dad we played 2k and Madden. Then on Sunday we went to the movie theater and we went out to eat.

I feel like back then in 1925 black people did not have as many rights as they do now. I think they treated him bad like by making him eat in the kitchen when some of white folks came over and he said he laughed ate well and grew strong. So I think the next day or the next time they tell him to go eat in the kitchen he's going to have all that courage he built up to tell them no and that today he will eat at the table like everyone else does.
