It is our duty to advocate at various levels throughout a student’s primary and secondary educational experience. We will advocate for additional support and proper outside resources for students who may need it in order to meet the educational standards set forth by the school district. Additionally, we will not only advocate but provide the proper resources and education for students and their post-graduation success. We will also take good care in advocating for students and their overall physical and mental well-being. In my hometown of Kenosha, racism has had a huge impact on our lives. I think by educating our kids we can begin to undo some of the learned hate and prejudice from generations before.
