Who Am I?

I am the type of person who does not belong in today's generation . I believe in one GOD, and I enjoy serving him. I enjoy hearing any worship songs, and my favourite activity is spending time with JESUS. I do not fully trust anyone, including my family, because I believe that even close family members might betray you. I have a small group of friends. I can multitask, and my physical appearance does not limit my talents. I'm pleased to serve people. Day by day, I'll do my best to be a role model for my three(3)siblings. I like to stay at home rather than to out with my friends.

Where did I grow up?

I grow up in Olivo, Tabuelan, Cebu. My parents raised me well. I grew up remembering that all we had for food was corn. We would eat it for breakfast, lunch and sometimes dinner. To buy rice, we went to the sea to collect shellfish to sell. We also performed "timba-timba" and went to "tabay" to get water. Sometimes, I'm glad to see the rain. My early years were very important to me, and I'm very thankful that I faced those kind of difficulties.

What is my educational background?

I'm currently a second(2nd)year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management . I acknowledge that I'm not very competent at this field. This course is not my choice but I see this as an opportunity for personal growth, and perhaps GOD allowed me to take this course. I'm still interested in what lies ahead for me, but I'll continue to believe in GODs plan for my life.

Juan Pamplona National High School was where I attended back in highschool. I was being bullied at the time, and I didn't think much of school because I felt like I had to. However, up to that point, I realized that I had made a mistake by not taking education seriously.

I spent my elementary years at Tabunok Elementary school. As usual I am also a victim of bullying my auntie and even my parents were constantly comparing me to my cousin because of their achievements ,but I didn't mind during this period, I began selling snacks inorder to supplement my income . Those days shaped me into the person I am now, and I am grateful to the bullies for teaching me to defend myself.

What are my hobbies and interest?

I'm not sure what my talent is, but one of my hobbies and interests is seeing books and having a large collection of school supplies is quite rewarding. I'm not strong at arithmetic, but I enjoy solving issues involving numbers. I enjoy sharing my expertise with others and teaching them about my experiences. I enjoy collecting motivating notes, particularly from bible texts. I also enjoy music, even though I'm not very talented at it. I'm simply liking anything related to teaching.

What are some of my proudest accomplishment?

I don't consider this an accomplishment but it is a victory for me. I am victorious because I experienced GODs grace and mercy , which resulted in a breakthrough in my life. I have many stories to tell, but one of them is particularly meaningful to me. It was difficult for me to embrace my previous struggles because I came from a broken home. I did not receive my desired course due to the situation, and I was really upset at the time. I blame my mother so much , and there was a time in my life when I didn't recognize her as my mother. However, GODs love and mercy I know why he's allowing me to face such agony . I achieved independence. I've been a working student up until now. I spent every night at work and every morning at school and I am still a part of dean Lister aside from that I became an ROTC Officer. It's difficult first to manage my time, but if JESUS is with you, who can be against you?He is capable of turning the impossible into the attainable.

What are some challenges I've faced in life?

One of the most difficult obstacles I've had in my life has been money. I intended to cease working as a student because I am already exhausted and I also want to focus on my studies, but I am unable to do so. Because my father is the only person who supports our needs as well as the studies of my three(3) siblings. I must make sacrifices as the eldest. Every time I want to quit, I remember my father's sacrifices. Even though he didn't say he was tired , his eyes did not deceive. Parents aren't perfect, but they always give their best for us. That's what we are thankful for.

How have these challenges shaped me as a person?

Those trials shaped me as a person by inspiring me to keep going and not give up until I achieved my goal. Life does not cease teaching, thus I should never stop learning. Challenges make me grow stronger day after day. There is always a reason for every challenges we experienced. We are the fighters, and we must face our obstacles with a courage.

What are some fun facts about myself that others may not know?

I'm the type of person who enjoys observing the sea but is terrified to engage in it. I find calm in its surroundings. There are waves in the sea, but there is a cause for them, just as there is in our lives . As humans.I also enjoy observing rainbows because they remind me of our almighty father's promise to Noah. Aside from that, I like the concept that "After the rain, there's always a rainbow". Following the hardships that we endured. We encountered bliss. Life is not all about happiness. It is about how you value things.

What is my Philosophy in Life?

Happiness derives from the word contentment. Life is difficult, but knowing how to be content allows you to feel grateful and joyful. Many people own businesses but are continuously in need of money, and they are unaware that their anxiety is causing them to commit suicide. On the other hand, there is a poor family that has faced the hardships of life but still enjoys it. That is one of the reasons why some of them have a more beautiful smile than others.

What are some my future goals and aspirations?

My brain wanted to be a teacher, but my heart wanted to be a preacher. There are several factors to consider. I enjoy educating others academically, but teaching them to rescue their souls is another story. A diploma is beneficial, but we must also own the crown of life. Knowing that JESUS will make his judgement on the last day. Dr. Jose Rizal had said that "the youth is the hope of the town," and I wanted to do something to help them grow.

Who are my biggest influences and inspirations?
My father is one of my most significant influences and inspirations. As a product of a broken home, it's difficult for me to observe his sacrifices day after day. Every time I look into his eyes, I am reminded of how important it is for me to succeed. Even though he never congratulated me on my accomplishments, I sensed that he was proud of me. I am extremely grateful to have him as my father. He never told us he was exhausted, and he is the reason I am continuing fighting the battles I've faced.
