I like this because it is an easy way for people to look at your portfolio. The logo's and designs on the card were created by herself. Maybe she printed the designs onto card and made lots of cards to give to people.

I think this is a creative way to promote yourself because it puts a portfolio of your work on a small business card. This way people can be introduced by your work and then look at some more of it using the contact details on the card. The audience would have been gamers or people who liked the Dante's Inferno books. 

The aim was to raise awareness for the game so that they could increase sales. It would also have helped raise awareness about the company so people will buy their other games. 

I found out about this a while ago on Facebook. I saw an article talking about this. It talked about how EA hired the actors and when EA revealed that they were actors it caused some controversy. 

EA could have sent some of their own employees to protest or they could have found people online and hired them.
