These colours will work well with a pale skin tone and natural, cool white lighting. The aim is to feature the colours in three categories (balm, matte and glossy) to highlight the different styles as well as colours. Monochromatic colours will help create an edgy look. Using solid black and whites (as opposed to grey scale) can also look bold and modern. This look will be suitable for both my website and my promotional video. The supporting colours will come from images of the lipsticks. For the website, I might ad some silver tones to this to add a bit more depth. In order to appeal to this audience, I have come up with the concept of having a very wide range of colours ad types, to suit almost anyone, particularly those who are fickle when it comes to choosing a style. 

My promotional video will be based around this concept and will focus on showing off the different styles. It then shows a model, just the lower half of her face against a white wall, wearing a shade of bright, vibrant, matte lipstick. The video is in pixilation form and flashes through pictures of the model, same pose same composition but with a different shade of matte lipstick each time. The shot then changes to text on a screen, this time saying ‘gloss’. The pixilation video begins again, except this time as the lipstick changes, each colour is glossy and luminous. In between the pixilation video are a few live action shots, showing the ‘in-between’ parts, where the model is applying the lipstick with ease. The final title across the screen says ‘balm’ and this time, the model is wearing pale coloured lip balm each time. The video follows this format, showing off a variety of colour and styles until the end, when the title ‘SUGA’ appears on the screen, followed by narration: ‘any colour, any mood, and any style’. The video is simple and punchy.
