My name is Jacklien Quirijnen and together with Mirjam van Laarhoven I have developed this MOOC. 

Next to my role as sustainability expert at The Upgrade Society, I work at Facet Eindhoven (facetadvies.nl) as a sustainability advisor and with my own company Oaq Sustainability, I help organisations to formulate and implement a sustainability strategy that seamlessly matches the DNA of the organisation.

I do this as a sustainability expert at TUS, through in-company projects and one-time workshops and key-notes. I use my background as mechanical engineer, teacher and designer to guide companies and other sustainability enthusiasts.

For sustainable innovation I believe it is essential to find the right focus for a professional to spend its time in order to increase the impact one can possibly make. Meanwhile, in the process of finding your personal purpose I believe it is important to just start; just start small, bring friends and colleagues along and have fun doing so!
